Victory to Hanuman, ocean of wisdom and virtue,
your glory shines across all the three worlds.

You are the messenger of Lord Rama, the abode of unmatched strength,
known as the son of Anjani and the son of the Wind God.

You are the great hero, powerful and mighty Bajrangbali,
destroyer of evil thoughts and companion of good wisdom.

Your golden complexion shines beautifully,
adorned with elegant clothes, earrings, and curly hair.

In your hands are the thunderbolt and the flag,
and the sacred thread shines gracefully on your shoulder.

You are the incarnation of Lord Shiva, the son of Kesari,
your divine glory is worshipped by the whole world.

You are wise, virtuous, and extremely intelligent,
always eager to carry out Lord Rama’s work.

You always delight in listening to the Lord’s divine stories,
and Lord Rama, Lakshman, and Sita reside in your heart.

Taking a subtle form, you appeared before Sita,
and in a fierce form, you burned Lanka.

Taking a terrifying form, you destroyed demons,
and successfully completed Lord Rama’s mission.

You brought the Sanjeevani herb and revived Lakshman,
seeing this, Lord Rama joyfully embraced you.

Lord Rama praised you greatly,
and considered you as dear as his brother Bharat.

Even a thousand mouths cannot sing your glory completely,
saying this, Lord Rama lovingly embraced you.

Sanak, Sanandan, Brahma, Narad, and Goddess Saraswati,
even Sheshnag, all sing your praises.

Yama, Kubera, and the guardians of all directions,
even poets cannot fully describe your greatness.

You helped Sugriva and united him with Lord Rama,
and made him the king.

Accepting your advice, Vibhishana became the king of Lanka,
this is known throughout the world.

Though the sun was thousands of miles away,
you swallowed it thinking it was a sweet fruit.

Holding the Lord’s ring in your mouth,
crossing the ocean was not difficult for you.

No matter how difficult the task in this world may be,
with your grace, it becomes easy.

You are the guardian at Lord Rama’s court,
no one can enter without your permission.

Those who take refuge in you receive all happiness,
under your protection, they have no fear.

You control your own divine power,
your roar makes all three worlds tremble.

Ghosts and evil spirits cannot come near,
when your holy name is chanted.

Diseases disappear and all pain is removed,
for those who constantly repeat your name.

Hanuman frees people from troubles,
who remember him with mind, action, and speech.

Lord Rama is the supreme ascetic king,
and you complete all his divine tasks.

Whoever brings a wish into their heart,
receives endless blessings and fulfillment.

Your glory is famous in all four ages,
and your divine light shines across the world.

You are the protector of saints and sages,
destroyer of demons and beloved of Lord Rama.

You grant the eight powers and nine treasures,
this blessing was given to you by Mother Sita.

You possess the treasure of devotion to Lord Rama,
and always remain in the service of Lord Rama.

By singing your praises, one attains Lord Rama,
and the sorrows of many lifetimes disappear.

At the end of life, one reaches Lord Rama’s divine abode,
and is reborn as a devotee of God.

Do not think of any other deity,
for Hanuman alone gives all happiness.

Whoever remembers Hanuman,
all troubles and sufferings are removed.

Victory, victory, victory to Lord Hanuman,
please bless me like a revered Guru.

Whoever recites this forty times regularly,
becomes free from bondage and gains great happiness.

Whoever reads Hanuman Chalisa,
attains spiritual powers, Lord Shiva himself is the witness.

Tulsidas is forever the servant of Lord Rama, O Lord,
please reside forever in my heart.
